Director of Recruitment & Training

Jon Mittelman has been in the recruiting business since 1987. He started his career at Forum Personnel, a major New York City placement firm, and remained there for 14 years. At Forum, Jon began as a placement counselor in the technology group and eventually co-managed that group, which had a team of ten recruiters. He focused on placing technology professionals in a variety of roles and industries. Types of candidates placed included Programmers, Network Engineers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Management Consultants and Senior IT Management professionals.

In 2001, Jon founded Infinity Technical Staffing to continue the same work he had done at Forum, under his own umbrella. Jon is continually praised by clients for his ability to understand their needs and to always send well qualified, carefully screened candidates who are on-target for the open position. By taking time to give personal attention to candidates and to listen carefully to what they are looking for, he has built up a loyal niche of candidates who prefer working exclusively with him. He has access to candidates that are often not actively looking and are not available through other recruiters or listed on typical search boards. Jon has personally placed thousands of technology professionals at the area’s top banks, law firms, advertising agencies, software firms and in a host of other industries. His clients range from firms with 50,000 or more employees to firms with less than ten.

Jon holds a degree in Sociology from Queens College.
